God’s Promises For The Anxious Heart

I’ve never done a post like this before, but today I thought I would just simply share some bible verses.  I’m sure that someone out there could use this, so if that someone is you, I hope it will be an encouragement to you! Hopefully this will be a reminder that no matter what life may bring your way, God is still always in control.

Psalms 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Isaiah 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Mathew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Mathew 11:28,29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye hall find rest unto your souls.

Philippians 4:6,7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving  let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Well, there are so, so many more great verses that could be listed, but hopefully these few have been an encouragement to you! What are some of your favorite bible verses and passages? Let me know in the comments down below!

Don't forget, sharing is caring!

  1. I really appreciated your choice of verses. There is nothing as comforting in this world as God’s Word speaking to our soul.

A personal favorite is Is. 43:2. It reminds me that God doesn’t keep me from all of life’s trials- but that He goes with me through them.

Isaiah 43:2 “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

  2. These are some great bible verses Cynthia for encouragement. One of my all-time favorite Bible verses comes from Joshua 1:9 which says, “9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

I also wanted to thank you for taking the time to follow my blog. If you don’t mind me asking; what was it about my blog that made you want to follow? Either way, I am glad that God is using this blog to reach people around the world.
