My Creative Bible
This creative bible is my absolute favorite and OH so much fun! Almost 400 hand drawn line art verse illustrations are placed throughout the bible, and there are blank columns on every single page so you can jot down notes, draw, or hand letter a favorite verse. Yes, it’s a little on the pricey side, but it is so worth it! This Bible is perfect for everyone from the advanced artist, to someone who couldn’t draw to save their life.
Beautiful Word Bible
I don’t personally have this bible, but it looks like another great option! Unlike the other creative bible that has blank spaces, this one is filled with verses and illustrations that are already fully colored and blank space to draw your own. I don’t think I would personally want a bible that was already filled with colored illustrations….. I would rather personalize it myself and make it my own. But if you would like a bible that’s already beautiful and colorful, this is a great option!
Rainbow bibles are a pretty well known. Basically, they are color-coded so that the reader can quickly and easily identify the 12 main themes of scripture; God, discipleship, love, faith, sin, evil, salvation, family, outreach, commandments, history, and prophecy. This Bible also underlines all the words of Jesus, an index, concordance, subject guide, bible reading calendar, 12 pages of maps, table of weights & measurements, and many other things! Rainbow bibles make study time a breeze since you can easily flip through and find scripture passages of the theme you are trying to study.
My Bible Study Journal
I love, love, LOVE this Bible study journal! Like really, seriously love it. This is the journal that I use in my everyday devotions. It is laid out so simply, yet so efficiently. Every page is laid out in 3 basic sections; Scripture, Notes & Reflection, and Prayer & Praise. This isn’t a devotional book, it’s just empty pages, waiting to be filled. I just got this Bible study journal about 2 weeks ago, and as soon as I opened it, I decided that it was going to be my all-time favorite devotional resource. It has enough pages for 3 months. I can’t wait to have it filled!
My Prayer Journal
My sister has this one and loves it! This one is a lot more structured than the Bible Study Journal. Every page is laid out in 4 squares; Today’s Verse, Lord Teach Me To, I Am Thankful For, and Prayer Requests. For now, I’m very happy with the freedom that the Bible study journal gives because it is so easy to add to your devotions, no matter what you are studying and focusing on. If you like a little more structure, than this would be a perfect journal for you!
Lettering For The Lord
This was the first hand lettering book that I ever got and it’s still a favorite! It breaks down every single stroke and makes everything so simple! Hand lettering is actually a lot simpler than it looks, it just takes some practice!
Lettering The Bible
Lettering The Psalms
Tombow Brush Pens
If you are just starting out with hand lettering, I would highly recommend using these Tombow Brush Pens! You don’t have to make the same mistake I did and buy a million and one different pens before finding one that actually works. After trying so many that were extremely hard to use and overall just flops, I think it’s safe to say that these are going to be my favorite for quite a long time. (If you hand letter and have a suggestion for a good brush pen, please let me know. I would be happy to try it out!)
Bible Safe Highlighters
These bible safe highlighters won’t smear or bleed through your pages! How amazing is that!?! I hate the look of highlighters bleeding through the thin pages of a bible, so these are definitely a big problem solver.
So now I want to hear from YOU! What are some of your favorite bible study resources? Do you have any of my favorites? Is there anything on this list that you’re going to get? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments down below!
