Just the writings of a girl striving to live a sweet n simple life, the way it was meant to be.

Hey there! Thanks so much for stopping by! As you may already know, my name is Cynthia. I guess since you came to the about page, you would like to know a little more about me… 🙂 Well, I’m not very good at describing myself, but I’ll try. Ready for some completely random facts about me and my life?

Faith, Family, & Food. That’s a pretty good summary of my life!

I’m a sinner saved by grace.

I’m a Baptist pastor’s daughter.

I am the oldest of 5 children. (Lord willing soon to be more through adoption.)

I have the most amazing family in the world.

I love making people smile. *smiles*

Pianist / Singer / Songwriter / Musician / Music Enthusiast (I think that about covers it….. Pretty much anything music related, I love.)

I’m almost always barefoot.

Mint tea is my favorite.

I’m just slightly obsessed with peanut M & M’s.

I love canning and preserving large batches of fruits, vegetables, jams, jellies, dry goods, etc.

Baking bread is kind of “my thing.” Not exactly sure why, but I just love it!

I believe that time spent serving God is never wasted.

I love taking long walks, especially when the sun is rising or setting.

Cows and horses are my favorite animals.

A good book, music playing in the background,  and mint tea on a rainy day is absolute perfection.

I am a writer. (If you can’t find me, just look around for the girl with her head down, scribbling in a journal. That’s me.)

I love sewing, quilting, crocheting, and starting little projects and things like that. (And I may be well known for not finishing all of the many, many projects that I start. Yeah, I’ve been working on that….)

Also….. BABIES! Give me all of the babies! No matter where I am, if there is a baby, I guarantee you, I will be holding it!

I’m striving to live a sweet and simple life, the way that God intended! Feel free to follow along on my journey!

Proverbs 3:5,6,7

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
