Hey there! Thanks so much for stopping by! As you may already know, my name is Cynthia. I guess since you came to the about page, you would like to know a little more about me… πŸ™‚ Well, I’m not very good at describing myself, but I’ll try. Ready for some completely random facts about me and my life? Here we go!

Faith, Family, & Food. That’s a pretty good summary of my life!

I’m a Baptist pastor’s daughter (the oldest of 5 children) who is very active in Church & Ministry. I enjoy being the Main Pianist, singing in choir and groups, helping out in the Primary & Junior Sunday School Classes, and helping out anywhere that I can. Time spent serving God is truly never wasted!

I’m just *slightly* obsessed with Young Living Essential Oils and their products. I’m in love with my Desert Mist diffuser, I always keep  Thieves cleaner in my purse, their lip balms are the only thing that keeps my lips soft and smooth, Stress Away oil is an absolute lifesaver (and it smells heavenly) their Einkorn & Wolfberry Granola makes a delicious breakfast and is the perfect snack when you’re on-the-go, and their Satin Mint Facial Scrub is the best facial scrub I have ever used in my entire life. Hands down. There’s just so many wonderful things to love about Young Living, I could probably keep writing this list all day….. But, I don’t want to bore you, so I guess I will stop here πŸ˜‰ Feel free to contact me if you would like to hear more about their life changing products!

I love making people smile. *smiles* I’m the girl that’s starts the fun debates, has crazy theories about everything, and makes you think about things like you never have before. Also, I know about a million and one random facts and will bring them up at the most random times…… Psssssttt….. Did you know that in Switzerland it is illegal to one only one guinea pig!?! And 7% of American adults believe that chocolate milk comes from brown cows?!?! Wow, I sure hope you’re not part of that 7% πŸ˜‰

To put it simply, I want to make the most of the time that I’m given and live each day intentionally and with purpose. That’s why I’m always on the search for the sweet & simple moments! They are what makes life beautiful!

It’s the quiet evenings with family.

It’s baking pancakes with your best friend late at night.

It’s running through a field of wildflowers, with the wind ripping through your hair.

It’s the sweetness of cuddling a newborn baby.

It’s the smell of fresh-out-of-the-oven bread and a good ole’ chicken dinner.

It’s the sight of a clean house, an empty sink, and an organized bookshelf.

It’s the beauty of the first rays of sunlight streaming through the windows.

It’s the baggy sweatshirt that swallows you up and keeps you warm and cozy.

It’s the rainy, gloomy, windy days.

It’s the good, tight hug after a long, exhausting day.

It’s the crunch of fallen leaves under your feet in Autumn.

It’s all of the smiles. The laughter. The joy filled moments.

It’s the simple little things that make life OH so beautiful.

I’m just an ordinary girl striving to live a sweet and simple life, the way that God intended it to be! Feel free to follow along on my journey!

I just came over from Melani’s blog and I really like yours! Also, it seems we have much in common! πŸ™‚ I LOVE babies too! And really all the children. Also, the elderly.
